3 Months

Here are Sydney's 3 month pictures from last week.  And, of course, Sara Beth had to have her picture taken too.  Sydney is such a great baby.  She is still sleeping really well at night.  She loves sitting up in your lap and looking around.  She is very nosy and likes to see what is going on around her.  She been reaching with her hands for a while, but now she is starting to actually grab things.  Her best friends are the frog, turtle, and ladybugs on the "activity bar" that goes across her carrier/carseat.  She loves playing with them, which also means she is a great car rider.  For naps during the day, she really prefers falling asleep on her own sitting in her swing.  We're incredibly thankful that we've been so lucky and so fortunate to have another beautiful, healthy, and GOOD little girl!

All tuckered out!  She found a nice comfy spot (away from Sara Beth!) under the coffee table and fell asleep...

Not only is this Sara Beth and Sydney's first pet, this is MY first pet too (other than fish, of course).  I'm very nervous about having another "person" to take care of, but seeing Sara Beth play with and take care of her tonight was really sweet.  Wish me luck on our new puppy adventure! 

Chris and Jay spent all day yesterday putting together Sara Beth's birthday present...her very own swing set for our backyard!  She was with Grandma and Pa all weekend so when she came home this afternoon she got to see her Birthday Surprise (2 weeks early)!
