smart!
Sara Beth has learned to count to 100. Here she is showing off her new skills. I did have to help her once. And for some reason she skips 95. But that might be because she was a bit distracted by Sydney and Santa!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We put up our tree and decorations yesterday. Sara Beth was SO excited! She is really getting into Christmas this year. I think she finally old enough to really know what's going on. This is going to be such a fun month for us all!
Fingers crossed, but so far Sydney is not at all concerned with the tree. She keeps to her side of the living room playing with her toys, and hasn't bothered the tree at all.

eight
Better late than never! (poor second child...) Sydney is indeed eight months old, and has grown up so much this past month. She is crawling! She crawled backwards for a few weeks before she finally figured out how to move forward. Then it took her a day or two to get comfortable with her new found skill. Now she is everywhere, following us all over the house. She is also babbling "dadadadada" non-stop. A conversation between us sounds something like this--
me: mamamama
Sydney: dadadada
me: mamamamamamama
Sydney: dadadadadadadada
Oh well, she'll get it eventually! She also got her first illness this month, an ear infection. Being sick has definitely turned her into a Mommy's Girl. She has wanted me and only me lately. I am enjoying this, because Sara Beth has been a Daddy's Girl since she was born.
Her current stats are...
21 lbs
size 4 diapers
size 12-18 month clothes

Thanksgiving -- Part 1
We spent Thanksgiving at our house with Pa, Uncle Rob, and Aunt Brandy. We missed Grandma, who spent the week with her family in Cincinnati.

Feast
I went to Sara Beth's school's Thanksgiving Feast today.
Here's my little pilgrim girl
The best part of the day was getting to play on the "big kid's playground" after lunch

fair
Last night we had our first Fair experience as a family....and it was so much fun! Sara Beth was a bit timid at first, but once we walked around for a while, she was ready to ride the rides and do all the fun things. We were there for over 3 hours and stayed up way too late on a school night, but it was well worth it!
Her favorite...the merry-go-round
riding the train all by herself
woohoo, that was fun!
sweet sisters
yummy funnel cake!
in the fun houses by herself
Sydney woke up and watched Sara Beth play
She said her favorite ride was the Gator rollercoaster. She rode it twice and the second time she had her hands up in the air...so cute!

Someone at school told Sara Beth there were ponies at the fair. She talked about riding the ponies all last week. She loved it!
Chris talked Sara Beth into riding the ferris wheel with him. She was a little afraid at first, but ended up really liking it.
